Pickup & Fares Questions
Once registered with SafeRyde.com click on the "Schedule Exclusive Ride" or "Carpool" tab and book your ride. For an "Exclusive Ride", simply select your child's name and select their pickup and drop-off location. You will then receive an alert confirming your rates. If you choose to "Carpool", you will send a carpool invite to a maximum of three friends. Then add your pickup and drop-off locations. Once completed you will receive an alert confirming your carpool and your rates. The friends you have sent the carpool request to will receive an alert via email or text giving them the option to sign into or register with SafeRyde and confirm the carpool. If you received a carpool alert from a friend, just accept the request and put in your pickup or drop off location.
Book your ride no later than 3pm the day before.
You will have access to your drivers phone number once the ride has been accepted by the driver.
Our drivers will only drive to locations they feel comfortable traveling to.
We ask that all rides stay within a 5 mile radius.
Yes, you can request to receive alerts via text or email.
Yes, each ride will broadcast live video streaming that can be viewed by logging into your account.
Each rider must be at least 7 years old.

We ask at the end of each ride that your child checks to make sure they have all of their belongings. Our driver will also check after each ride is complete to make sure nothing is left behind. In the event an item is overlooked we will let you know and the driver will make arrangements with you to have the item returned.
You will have the option to set a secret question and answer that only your child will know and the driver will get when the ride is accepted.
Base Fare $5.00 + $0.50/minute /+ $1.00/mile - Minimum Fare $11 Mileage after 5 mile = $1.00/mile Rides over 30 minutes = $0.50/minute Extra Passenger (Sibling) = $5.00 (additional siblings free) Booking Fee $1.00
SafeRyde charges a $1.00 booking fee for each ride.

No, if you cancel the ride less than 3 hours before the ride time your credit card will still be charged for the quoted amount. Any scheduled rides that are cancelled before the 3 hour cancellation period will not be charged.
